Specially designed for marine application, this 55W top exit flexi panel features a double-sided ETFE laminated outer layer with high weather, salt spray and corrosion ressistance. The dimpled surface pattern provides an anti-slip surface as well as delivering excellent light transmission. In addition, the ETFE top layer is ‘self-healing’ so that if a panel comes into contact wigh something abrasive, such as a branch, any slight scratches are ‘healed’ within a few hours.
To ensure long term performance in the most extreme enviroments, these flexi panels are tested to ASTM B117 – ISO9227 for salt water spray over 1,000 hours as well as accelerated Ultraviolet (UV) testing to ISO 4892.
The panel has eyelets in each corner for easy fixing and comes with a 4m cable attached. A 10Ah charge controller should be used with this panel to protect the battery from being overcharged and to prevent reverse of current drain. a 10Ah charge controller is recommended for this panel.
For optimum battery performance the panel should be paired with a Lifos Go advanced lithium battery. Up to four Lifos batteries can be connected in parallel or series to increase the current or voltage.
