The Spectre features a unique design to reduce the maximum amount of metal for an ultra light weight and improved balance on your rod.</p> <p>This range is available in 3/4, 7/8, 9/10 & 10/11 sizes, designed to cover a range of fly fishing applications. Each reel has a large arbor design to increase retrieve speeds, reduce line memory and provide consistent drag performance. The large arbor is built up from a high grade, aircraft aluminium bar stock for maximum durability and a light weight.</p> <p>The multi-disc cork and stainless steel centre drag is ultra smooth, provides excellent performance and the main spindle is combined with a one-way roller clutch bearing. This provides you with instant drag control which is required when you are caught by surprise from a smash take!</p> <p>These fly reels all include a captive, quick spool release for easy and quick changing of your spools. The cap on the spool release has been conveniently designed so it does not come all the way off so you don’t risk losing it. The Spectre fly reel is also easily able to be converted from left to right hand wind and each reel is finished with extra hard paint for saltwater and chip resistance.</p> <p>Available in two models, the Spectre 5/6 is a great choice for anglers who fish slightly larger rivers. It works best with rods of around 9ft but with sufficient backing capacity for small stillwaters.</p> <p>The 7/8 model is a good choice for larger rivers, fishing sea-trout or salmon with single handed rods or large stillwater and reservoir. This reel is best for those who want a quality reel with a powerful drag and sufficient backing capacity to handle large fish.</p> <p>The Snowbee Spectre Fly Reel is avalable in a Gunmetal Silver colour or Black and includes a small design of a Trout fly featured on the spool release cap. This reel offers excellent value for money as each reel is supplied with 4 clear spools, 1 already on the reel and an additional 3 spare spools.
