Following the phenomenal success of the original Thistledown line and then the #5/7 model, Snowbees new model in a #1 to #4 weight, has a shorter, lighter profile than its big brothers, providing superb, delicate presentation with the lightest of rods and flies. 

Using the same, well-proven profile of the original XS, this premium fly line combines all the attributes of the original range, but in a Hi-Float coating. This ultra-buoyant material avoids tip-sink. making it the ideal dry fly, or light nymphing line.

A sink tip line which exhibits superb casting performance with a 13ft Intermediate (1.2- 1.8 ips) density sink tip which will hold, just sub-surface, giving straight line contact with the fly to avoid missed takes whilst depth control is achieved through speed of retrieve. Ideal for serious trout anglers, but also makes a superb river sea-trout line.
